Rose quartz – is a member of the largest family of stones, the silica group and is composed of silicon dioxide with traces of titanium. As a healing stone, it emits a calming, cooling energy which can work on all of the chakras to gently remove negativity and to reinstate the loving, gentle forces of self-love. The pink colour of rose quartz has been symbolic of love throughout the ages.
Unakite – is an altered granite with a marbled appearance. It is composed of pink orthoclase feldspar, green epidote and colourless to creamy quartz. It is considered a semi-precious stone. As a healing stone, the colours are associated with healing the heart. Unakite is said to lift spirits – this is the gemstone to help one see the beauty in life. It is also used to uncover deception.
Silver obsidian – is a natural form of volcanic glass, composed of various combinations of basalt, andesite, rhyolite, and trachyte. It is black with a lustrous texture and when you hold this stone to light, flashes of bright silvery inclusions seem to glow from within. This protective stone shields against negativity. In addition it encourages patience and perseverance, making it a wonderful choice as a meditation stone, especially when working on the third-eye chakra. It allows one to see their being as others do.
Blue Obsidian – is a blue coloured man-made glass, perfect for colour therapy. Blue energies relate to self-expression, communication, speech and the spirit of truth and purpose. For those doing chakra work, blue relates to the throat chakra. Blue helps in resolving imbalances in the lungs, thyroid, upper digestive tract and of course throat.
